Charlotte & Erik :: Temple Kol Emeth

Charlotte and Erik's wedding took place at Temple Kol Emeth in Marrietta. It was actually the last wedding I photographed in 2009, and I didn't have a chance to blog it at the time but it is too wonderful not to share. The day was truly full of emotion, especially between Charlotte and Erik. They have been together over six years, and they have that kind of intimacy that comes from both friendship and love.

It was one of those kind of days... crispy with extra Fall.

Who doesn't love letters, and letters that include gifts are even better...

Photos of Erik by my friend Will Godfrey, who joined me for the day-

When I told Erik how beautiful Charlotte looked, he placed his hand over his heart...

Will's photo:

Rabbi Lebow led a memorable service. The wedding was the day after daylight savings time change, and he reminded everyone that we had been granted what we so often wish for later in life- just one more hour with those we love.

Congrats Sari (Charlotte's Hebrew name) and Erik, it was such a pleasure to get to know you and share this day with you!
