I had the pleasure of spending a late afternoon in the park with Brandi and her daughter Bree, who now live in my old home in Forsyth. I imagine if you could wish for a red-headed daughter from a genie in a bottle, Bree is what you would get! Her vibrant hair is matched by a beautiful face and a sweet, curious disposition. Don't the two of them look great together?

Aunt Mandy
Mandy has put in a lot of long hours on photography as well as her studies this year, and she caps off the season as a very proud to be a first-time aunt! Here she shows off her beautiful niece, Ashlynn Elizabeth.
Ashlynn with her mom, Mandy's sister Tracy:
Other sweet photos of little Ashlynn, all black and white because it is so timeless!
It seems to me Dr. Suess' holiday song should accompany the photos,
Welcome Christmas
Dah who dah-moose!
Welcome Christmas
While we stand
Heart to heart
And hand in hand...
Welcome Ashlynn!

Thanksgiving '08
Thanksgiving was miraculously relaxing this year, exactly what I needed and wanted! Of course I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take photos of my nieces and nephews, they have changed so much since last year. The oldest two are starting to look like grown people.
I love the way Ashley holds her toys close like dear loved ones in a tightly contained circle; the obscured face of the doll seems to bring more attention to her open expression.
Noah, once as mischievous as he looks in this photo, has calmed down a lot at the ripe old age of 3.
Paul Louis Stone III, just as sweet as his eyes say he is. : )
Baby Emily shows off her two front teeth.
Hill-side surfing is the favored activity at my mom's place. On the right day, she can be seen sledding right along side her grandchildren.Of course Paul has try several entry points on the hill, whether they lead him over sidewalks or into bushes...
My brother and his wife, who celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary last summer. I will never forget how proud my brother looked on his wedding day, it makes me almost tear up again to remember. I could only take a few photos at the wedding, I was crying too profusely!
Love you guys! Move back to GA!

Ansleigh Noelle Rose
These are my favorites from a recent studio session with 9-days-new Ansleigh Rose and her proud parents, James and Candice. I really like the name Ansleigh, and I'm sure she will grow into it beautifully!
This is my very favorite image, because of her expression, the hand to her face, and those brightly open eyes!
And here she is snug, her mother's hands and supporting lap mimicking the gentle curved shape of Ansleigh's raised arms pointing to her little round head. Awww. :)
