As the New Year draws quickly closer, I want to sneak in my last portrait session of 2009. To begin these images I met Ashley & Michael in a neighborhood of Birmingham called Homewood, then we went to the spot at the Botanical Gardens where Michael proposed to Ashley under the guise of a letterboxing quest. As Ashley relayed to me, the proposal happened on a very cold day and she was wondering what all the fuss was about, until she found the ring box instead of the letterbox. Love it!
