Kara and Rory's wedding at Saint Brigid was followed by an extended reception at the Country Club of the South. Kara is a dear sweet soul who looked amazing on her wedding day- I loved her glamorous dark hair pulled back.
This is a letter Kara wrote to her as-yet-unknown husband when she was 15 years old!
An excited toast with flowers instead of champagne...
One of my favorite flower girl photos ever...
Rory kept his back turned til the last minute...
Kara and Rory met at the University of Alabama, so it was no surprise that UAB colors set the theme of the wedding. Here the groomsmen check the score post-wedding, photo by my supporting photographer Debbie:
The ladies in maroon, of course.
I loved this trio of images- a little style mixed with a blowing veil!
The bridal party at Country Club of the South, Debbie's photo:
I wanted to catch Kara and Rory surrounded by people but oblivious to anyone but each other.
Love the way Rory is looking at Kara here-
In lieu of favors a donation was to the Southern Hope Humane Society.
Kara's sister and maid of honor sprang a few tears during the toast, and she was not alone.
Last dance and a jubilant farewell!
Congrats Kara & Rory, you have helped me like UAB a little, despite the football rivalry!
