Thanks to Laura & Chip for the invitation to dinner Wednesday night. Business is no longer work when your clients become your friends... Spending non-photo time with Laura felt a bit surreal at first- after reviewing so many images of her from the engagement session through the wedding, I had the odd sensation that I was sitting across from a celebrity, previously spotted in magazines or on Perez Hilton's blog. Then I thought, "Wait, I know her, she's my celebrity!" Our dinner conversation ranged from clothes, OF COURSE, to our favorite bands- Franz Ferdinand and Travis, among others- to a discussion of movies and how we expect to be enriched by them (I don't think that's asking too much). I love the picture and the post. I need to get a copy of that picture too! That is so strange that you mentioned the "surreal" thing, we were thinking the same thing-we are hanging out with an artist! Hope you had a nice weekend, and that you found a great Travis album.
